Founded in March 2018 as one of the strategic government scientific initiatives, the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing (CIBR, Beijing) mainly focuses on brain science and brain-like intelligence technology development. CIBR conducts original research for understanding the fundamental principle of brain, solving major cognitive disorders, developing brain-like intelligence technology and constructing general technical assistance facilities and biological-medical resource databases. By constructing a cooperative, innovative, efficient and rational research environment, we aim at establishing a top-level research-oriented institute to make major break-through in science and solve the main concerns of the country, and also educating future generations of brain scientists.
