A series of procedures and papers must be applied within limited time after foreign talents entering China holding Z visa. The accommodation registration needs to be applied within 24 hours. It is suggested that the medical examination or certification should be done within one week. The work permit needs to be applied within 15 days. The residence permit needs to be applied within 30 days.
Work Permit
According to Article 41 of the“Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China”, foreigners who work in China shall obtain work permits and work-type residence permits in accordance with relevant regulations. No entities or individuals shall employ foreigners who have no work permits or work-type residence permits .
